ICAP testing a new IP monetization scheme

ICAP Patent Brokerage, intellectual property brokerage and patent auction firm, will be holding its first-ever Covenant Not to Sue (CNS) auction on September 27-29, 2011. Here’s what is being auctioned: agreements drafted by patent holders that are essentially promises not to sue the winning bidder for infringement of some or all of the patents in that patent holder’s portfolio.
